For 2025, CEAL stepped back so nature could step forward. The calendar became a canvas. One filled with art, poetry, and endangered species that need our attention.
The creative idea emerged from a real gap. CEAL had made sustainability a focus, but didn’t yet have a visible expression of that intent. This calendar changed that.
We teamed up with a local artist and a poet to create twelve portraits of endemic species, all written and illustrated in Mauritian Creole. Every page, a quiet reminder of what’s at stake.
What could’ve been a corporate giveaway became something else, a beautiful object with a purpose, ready to hang in homes and offices all across the island.
